How To Dress Up For Road Trips | Vol. 1

 Lately, I find myself taking several road trips, and even though I'm just almost always asleep at the back of the car, all those hours of sitting/lying down on a relatively limited space can get messy. Nonetheless, I remember the times when I used to look forward to the longest road trips with glee. And in a way, I still do-- at times-- but I think, it all depends on the circumstances.

 Indeed, road trips can be fun, tiring, or both. And as I have mentioned, it depends on the circumstances. It probably all boils down to the people you're with, your purpose for taking the trip (w/n for leisure), and your level of comfort which, I think, can be affected by so many factors, etc. But while we have no control over other elements, our ease based on what we wear is on us. So like all times, we have to dress wisely, appropriately, and of course, stylishly. 

What I'm Wearing: Sweatshirt (somewhere from the streets of Bangkok), Long Tee (Bershka), Slip-ons (Zalora)

 Let's lay down what makes roadtrips tiring. For one thing, we'd be sitting for number of hours. Hence, we'd want to wear something comfortable, less constricting. Second, temperature could vary- there are times when it'll get hot and times when it'll get cold. Thus, we want to wear something that would fit both end of the spectrum. Lastly, road trips would include stop-overs. But while stop-overs are fun in themselves, it also involves being exposed to people who could see us in our most haggard look should we not play our cards right. So obviously, we'd like to look our best at all times.

 This sweatshirt-joggers combo could address those problems. They're cool and as I've said, less constricting than other types of apparel. They also remind us of pajamas and thus of bed. Hence, not only do they bring physical comfort but also mental comfort. That reminder of our beds--of that very safe, personal space--that most comfortable of our comfort zones indeed affect our state of mind. They make us relaxed than we should be, and allow us to be more comfortable with our surroundings.   Another, they're very current and stylish. As I've mentioned on previous posts, the world is still going crazy with that sports-inspired look. This getup very well fits the description.
