Braves
Still in keeping with the theme of yesterday's post, here's another sports inspired attire to promote proper exercise after a month of uncontrolled eating, drinking, partying, and all that is the opposite of healthy living. So, c'mon! Get up, get moving, and burn 'em unwanted fats to the ground! HAHA! But like I said yesterday, this is not attire to work out on. Simply, it's something inspire getting back into shape.
I never really knew how many baseball jerseys I had as a child/pre-teen until I dug up a number of them including this one, which I still vividly remember buying from an official Atlanta Braves merchandise store probably more than a decade ago. Lol! I'm such a geek. Though, I'm not so sure if I've worn it before; I don't think I have cause it used to be very big (still kinda is, actually, so imagine it on me when I was probably 13 or so). Hence, I thought of treating the child in me by sporting (pun may or may not be intended) it in today's post.
But so you know, this is the first time for me to style a baseball jersey. Sure, I've worn them before but only for watching games and other sports-related events, and not necessarily for fashion. Needless to say, I got a little excited in coming up with this attire.
Style-wise, I topped it over a long tee to fuse such very old jersey shirt with modern street style, and capped (again, pun may or may not be intended) it with a baseball cap to go with the over-all theme or feel of the attire. However, I refused to pair it with joggers nor any shorts because it might be too that I could be mistaken for dressing to attend a baseball match. Instead, I paired it with plain denim jeans to balance the element of sports with street style.
So, what do you guys think? Comment below :)
Just a heads up, btw, I won't be able to post this week as I'll be out of the country for couple of days. Rest assured, I'll be sharing here on the blog all my travels, outfits of the days, and all that is worthy to be shared. So, yeah, watch out for that.
