Manila Fashion Festival 2015

Late post ahead. I know, I prolly should get my sh*t done. Teehee. But two weeks isn’t so long ago, is it?

Anyway, two weeks ago (Oct 23), I have attended the annually celebrated Manila Fashion Festival of Art Personas at Green Sun Hotel. It's actually a 4-day event that ran from Oct. 22-25 but I was only able to attend the second day. Sad.

Moving on, only on its second year, MMF has become a total game-changer in the Philippine fashion industry. On both years, it provided both established and rising designers a platform to succeed, and has totally changed the way we see Filipino designers. Outoftownblog.com says “talented designers aiming to grow their reputation in the industry are joining the fray, including Banggo Niu, who has recently inaugurated his own studio, as well as Preview’s Emerging Fashion Talents Bea Samson, Esme Palaganas, and Tony Evan xxxx…. Included in the roster of talents are seasoned veteran designers who are there to show the newcomers how it is done. They are being featured for the first time at the Manila Fashion Festival and include the likes of Mark Tamayo, Jerome Salaya Ang, Rhett Eala, and Happy Andrada. The audience will be sure to see a groundbreaking collection of fashion they have never seen before”

Anyway, here’s what I wore to the said event.

What I'm Wearing: Snapback (Bershka), Sweater (Old Navy), Wraparound (21Men), Cap Toe (Bershka)

Just like last year, the event was attended by some of the most fashionable individuals I have ever seen. Thus, I knew I had to bring my A-game. Just a general observation from the attendees: long tees, oversized shirts, and draping your coats over your shoulders are probably the hottest things right now.
