Denim On the Street
The previous months have been very fun as I have found myself re-defining my style. It wasn't planned nor was it forced. Rather, it's something that I have realized I was doing so unconsciously. What do I mean by this, you ask? Hmmm...let me explain.
Ask me five years ago what I thought of denim, and I would have said NO. Ask me a year ago what I thought of beanies, and I would have given it a thumbs down. Ask me a month ago what I thought ago what I thought of shirts tied around one's waist, and I'd just laugh at your face. Ask me what I think about them now, and I'll say...well, they work. Or at least, I think they did with this particular getup. No..that's kind of a lie. To be honest, I kinda really love it.
What I'm Wearing: Beanie (H&M), Denim Jacket (F&H), Gray Tee (Zara), Button Down (The Ramp), Denim Jeans (Topman), Shoes (Harley-Davidson)
Surprisingly, however, I don't feel like I've lost my personal style. In fact, I feel like I've elevated it even if just a tiny bit. And that's the best thing about fashion and the best style advice I could give to anyone- to try something new every once in a while whilst retaining your personal style and identity.
Some detail shots
Using denim for the body and cotton for the sleeves renders this jacket both stylish and comfortable. Now, where can I find one with leather body and cotton sleeves? :)) Email me if you know where I could get one.
