Nor Et Gris
Two weeks ago, November 13, was the opening and blessing of my friends’ gym. It was something that they have been planning to put up together for a time now, thus it’s very nice to see that they’ve finally accomplished that goal. It wasn’t that big of a celebration-just an intimate one for the closest of friends and a few soft-opening clients.
Anyway, the owners toured us around the facilities, demonstrated a bit of workout exercises, and thereafter, arranged a little early dinner party. Like always, however, my priority was to find the most appropriate yet stylish attire. But since I wasn’t planning to workout (nor were we allowed to), wearing gym clothes just wasn’t an option. Still, I wanted to wear something that is both chill and sporty (cause it’s a gym) on one hand and something formal and edgy (cause it’s a blessing/dinner) on the other.
What I'm Wearing: Cardigan (Penshoppe), Long Tee (H&M), Sneakers (Topman)
Such feat was hard to do, guys! So before you say anything, I’m aware that this look nowhere balances those styles. Instead, what I did was to lean more towards the edgy side by wearing a combination of black and gray (I need to stop this habit, I know), and topping it off with that wool sun hat. Nonetheless, I also retained a touch of sportiness by wearing that jogger pants-sneaker combo.
